Web Admin: Keep Your Site Updated and Safe

all the major CMSes on a table and tangled up

An Austin-Based Company to Care for Your Website

Just because you’re a business owner doesn’t mean that you have the time to run a website. Even with a small business, the tasks and duties of site upkeep can get out of hand. Why not delegate to a professional? Here at Froglet, we have literally decades of experience keeping websites running (and currently that’s just one guy, me!). What kind of website have you got? I’ve probably worked with it. WordPress of course, I could strip a WordPress site down and re-assemble it blindfolded. But pretty much any other website you could shake a stick at, I’ve worked with it: Magento, Drupal, Joomla, BigCommerce, and Squarespace, etc.

A Site Admin Saves You Money

Did you know that a third of all small businesses aren’t getting the leads submitted through their webforms? That’s scary to think about, isn’t? That you could be leaving customers in silence, maybe for months on end. Customers who think that you’re snubbing them, but really you had no idea that they took the time to fill out that form.

The first thing I’ll do with a new site is test the webform and correct deliverability issues.

There’s lots of other things to consider. Caching and site speed. Security hardening. Plugin and software updates. Hosting. DNS. Ecommerce shopping cart updates and maintenance. Analytics. And then there’s regular old content updating. Let’s say you fire someone and hire someone else. Someone needs to update the team page, and do you want that to be you? Hire me and you can just send me an email and it’ll happen!

this is what being a webadmin looks like. Just clicking on a laptop all day

Call an Austin Web Administrator

There’s a few advantages to having an Austin-based web admin over the alternative of some overseas contractor. First, you can be pretty sure I exist, physically speaking. If you’ve had problems with malware or hackers in the past, then it will surely be a point of reassurance for you to have your new web admin show up at your office (probably on a bike) to take possession of the login credentials. Your average bot from Russia can’t make that promise.

Try filling out my webform (you can be certain that it delivers notifications properly) and I’ll take some worry off your hands.
