Who is Matthew Bey?
Matthew is . . .
an internet marketer living in Austin, Texas. I’ve worked with several local agencies over the years, but the bulk of it has been as the VP of Operations of an SEO agency which enjoyed consistently top rankings for “SEO Austin” for over a decade. You’d be surprised how many agencies whose primary business was getting people to rank, can’t actually, you know . . . rank themselves? But it was there that I learned all of the nitty gritty tricks and skills required to win at truly competitive markets.
Matthew’s Community Values
I’m a TPWD certified angler education instructor, so many weekends you’ll find me volunteering at fishing education events. There’s lots of kids (and adults too!) in the Austin area who need a little helping hand to learn the skills of fishing. Yeah, it’s supposedly charity or something, but it’s fishing and having fun outside, so I can’t claim that this volunteer work is in any way a hardship. I also help out at litter cleanup events whenever I can: LoCo Trash Bash, It’s My Park Day, Red Bluff Foundation. If you know any other ones in the Austin area, drop me a line, I would love to get rid of more of that trash out there.
A Nerd and a Country Gentleman
There’s no point in hiding the fact that I’m a nerd. Might as well get this out in the open as soon as possible. I’m a locally respected science fiction writer who goes to sci-fi cons and talks about Mars colonies in front of an audience.
I’m also an avid hunter and fisherman. Ask me about the incident with the alligator head sometime.
